Labyrinth Chartres Cathedral style is an interpretation drawn by Kim Victoria specifically to make a clean imprint in rubber at the small size of 1-5/8″ (42 cm) in diameter.

The Labyrinth Chartres Cathedral style rubber stamp is made with the highest grade red rubber, pressed to the optimal depth to capture all the detail of the images. All rubber is inspected for quality; should you find a flaw we missed, that image will be immediately replaced upon proof of defect.

This interpretation of the Labyrinth at Chartres Cathedral in France was drawn by Kim Victoria specifically to make a clean imprint in rubber at the small size of 1-5/8″ (42 cm) in diameter. The original labyrinth has 12 rows of pathway in its circle, whereas this design only has 8 rows. Labyrinths, in general, can be any number of switchbacks within the enclosure.

“The labyrinth in Chartres Cathedral, was constructed during the second decade of the 13th century. The labyrinth is 12.9 metres (42.3 ft.) in diameter and fills the width of the nave. While much has been written about the purpose of this labyrinth, little contemporary documentation survives, although it is known that labyrinths in the French cathedrals were the scene of Easter dances carried out by the clergy. It is also popularly assumed that they symbolise the long tortuous path that pilgrims would have followed to visit this, and other shrines and cathedrals, during the medieval period.” (from
